I have no hesitations in using a shopping trolley when slinging one of the children. I've quite a nice black one not dissimilar to this one below. But, dare I use one when I'm NOT carrying a child?

Don't get me wrong. I already commit what is probably every style faux pas in the book. I'm a *literally crunchy* parent as opposed to a *trendy right-on crunchy* parent. I aim to brush my hair every day but it just doesn't always happen. Perhaps pulling a shopping trolley around town will make no difference? Just can't help thinking I'm the wrong side of forty (or perhaps I should say seventy) to be using one. Would you? Any style gurus with a practical streak willing to share their thoughts?

That is so funny, I really want one of those, purely from a more practical point of view but my daughter says no, only 'old' people use them. I may just say stuff it and get one.
lol!! Ikwym, they are practical tough, maybe they need a make over, some trendy celeb should be photographed pulling one along then we'll all want one!!!
O.k i dare you and we want pics to prove it#!!! ;0) lol
I used to push one of them around when I was only 23. Now I use the boys major buggy as a carry all.
Ok, ok, I've not taken much persuasion! Should you happen to spot a rather bedragled looking woman, with vacant/confused expression on her face, pulling a black shopping trolley round M&S Durham on a Saturday afternoon soon - it's ME!
Not sure about the pictures Amanda :-)
You should put big chunky wheels on it...put some funky mofits on the fabric......
I had one until I managed to break it tumbling it off the bus. I did get a few funny looks but didn't really care tbh
Now I live further away from the big shop so am tempted to buy another. Maybe I'll buy one and jazz it up with felt flowers or something and start a trend, lol!
I've been looking out for one so I could do it up. Not needing one so much now though as we are doing one big weekly shop instead of every day shopping for dinner type shopping.
