To say I was shocked when I spiked my finger on a piece of mackerel is an understatement. I've spoken with someone from Public Health and apparently you can get naturally occuring crystals in tinned fish. They dissolve in boiling water. These didn't dissolve. I think the years of effort I have put into convincing Hermione that oily fish is good for you may just have been dashed in an instant *sigh*.
