Borage and Brightlights

I've spent a lot of time over the past few days planning the veg patch in my head.

I've not drawn up a plan yet but I'm quite determined to give borage and chard brightlights a try.

I'm hoping that the chard brightlights will entice even the most reluctant young lettuce eater.

I also have visions of sipping drinks with borage ice cubes in. So pretty.

Ooh - the ice cubes are pretty

The chard brightlights look nice too.

I found with my reluctent lettuce eaters, that they rather enjoyed the leaves of lettuce as baby leaves, they are much sweeter (plus it's the novelty of eating something they have grown)

It's something we are going to try again as it was a hit, but I must remember to grow more of it :-)
